The Langley Rivermen let a one-goal lead slip away in the third period as the visiting Cowichan Valley Capitals scored twice in the final 11 minutes to win 3-2.

Logan Proulx tied the game at 9:39 and Keyler Bruce struck for the winner with 1:41 remaining in regulation.

Cowichan Valley's Darrin Robak and Langley's Peter McMullen had traded first period goals.

Darnell Dyck had given the Rivermen a 2-1 lead late in the second with a power-play goal.

The Rivermen are in Surrey on Saturday (Feb. 11) to race the Eagles and host Cowichan again on Feb. 17.
