Cratty, Berg power Blaze to victory

Two swings of the bat send Langley Blaze to fourth straight victory

Rhys Cratty belted a two-run home run while Daniel Berg had a two-run triple as the Langley Blaze won their fourth straight game on Tuesday night.

The Blaze were hosting the Abbotsford Cardinals at McLeod Park as Langley improved to 11-7 in the B.C. Premier Baseball League with their sixth win in the past seven games.

Aiden Mordecai earned the win, striking out six while allowing one run over 5.2 innings.

Jake Polancic earned the save, striking out three of the six batters he faced.

Langley is back in action on May 24 when they host the White Rock Tritons at McLeod Park.
