Curling teams were on the ice over the weekend at the Langley Curling Club to see who would represent Zone 3 (Fraser Valley) at the B.C. Seniors Games in Langley in September.

And when play had wrapped up, it was a pair of Langley rinks, one from Surrey, and another with players from Langley and Abbotsford, who had won the right to represent the Fraser Valley.

The men's and ladies' 55+ rinks will be represented by the Jeannotte rink and the Clark, respectively. Both are from Langley.

And the Anderson rink — which has Langley and Abbotsford players — and Surrey's Gardner rink will compete in the mixed 65+ men's and ladies' competitions.
