The deadline to register for the 2013 Prospera Valley GranFondo is fast approaching.
Midnight on July 14 is the last chance for interested cyclists to sign up for the second annual ride. The ride is July 21 and begins and ends at the Fort Langley Historic Site.
The cost to register is $199 for the GranFondo (160-km), $179 for the MedioFondo (88-km) and $119 for the PrestoFondo (50-km).
Twin Rinks Physiotherapy will also be on hand to provide group stretching sessions prior to the ride as well as complimentary post-ride massages on a first come first serve basis.
Last year's inaugural event saw more than 1,200 cyclists take part with $20,000 raised for Special Olympics BC. SOBC will once again be the charity beneficiary of the GranFondo.
Race packages can be picked up at the Sandman Hotel (8855 202 St.) on July 19 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and July 20 from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. Or they can be picked up starting at 6 a.m. on race day.
