North Langley Red Sox’ Tanner Bailey sees a pitch that he likes during the 9/10 tier 1 championship final against the Langley Yankees on Sunday at the George Zarrelli Diamond.The Red Sox won 12-1.

Several baseball divisions wrapped up their league playoffs over the weekend at North Langley’s George Zarrelli Diamond.

The North Langley Mets edged the North Langley Angels 11-10 in the 9-10 tier II baseball final. The Mets trailed 6-2 but tied the game at 10 and then scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Tyson Baker (Mets) and Joey Yeomans (Angels) earned the MVPs.

The 9-10 tier I championship game saw the North Langley Red Sox pound their way to a 12-1 victory over the Langley Yankees.

Nolan Premack (Red Sox) and Alexander Crone (Yankees) earned game MVP honours.

The North Langley A’s edged the North Langley Dodgers 9-7 in the Major II championship game with the A’s Braden Warburton winning the MVP.

And in the 11-12 Major I final, it was the North Langley Jays down the Langley Phillies 6-0 behind a one-hitter from game MVP Ben Whiton. Justice Chiasson earned the Phillies’ MVP.
