’Dogs cool off Sr. Blaze

The Burnaby Bulldogs took a bite out of the Langley Sr. Blaze.

The Bulldogs scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning on Tuesday (July 19)  at McLeod Park to win 3-2 and then won 6-2 the next night in Burnaby.

The first game was tied at one heading into the seventh, with Burnaby managed to score a pair of runs in their half of the inning, thanks to a bases loaded walk and then a Blaze error.

Tyler Willson and Joe Germaine had the Langley RBIs.

And in the second game, the Bulldogs struck for three runs in the first inning and that was enough offence in the 6-2 win.

Scott Webster had both Blaze RBIs.

The Blaze are in the Pacific Metro Baseball League playoffs this weekend against the Coquitlam Angels.
