Pablo Wigwigan and the North Langley Bears fell 48-21 to the Abbotsford Black Falcons in the Valley Community Football League junior bantam championship final in Chilliwack.

The North Langley Bears could not keep pace with the high-flying Abbotsford Black Falcons.

The Bears came out on the short end of a 48-21 score to Abbotsford in the Valley Community Football League junior bantam championship final on Nov. 16 in Chilliwack.

Abbotsford took advantage of some excellent field position on their opening drive and cashed in for the early 8-0 lead. The Bears did respond with a touchdown of their won when Caleb Nielsen crashed his way into the end zone from their three yards out on the ensuing drive.

The play was set up by a great diving catch by Connor Hurley from quarterback Jacob Stebbings, which put the ball on the three-yard line.

The two then connected on the convert to make the score 8-7.

But after that, the Falcons took over, racing out to an insurmountable 48-13 lead as Pablo Wigwigan scored the North Langley touchdown.

The Bears added a late score with Stebbings running the ball into the end zone.
