Flip City cheers its way to title

Langley cheer time captures three team banners, one individual banner

Flip City Cheer won a trio of team banners as well as placing three individuals in the top five in the solo competition at the Okanagan Cheer Championship.

The Flip City Cheer team closed out the season with a handful of banners at the Okanagan Cheerleading Championships last weekend.

The Royals, the club’s U11 youth level 1 team, came first in their division, as well as winning the grand champion banner for the highest score among all level 1 teams and finishing second overall among all teams in the competition.

Flip City’s junior level 2 U14 team came second in their division.

And individually, Tiana Roode was first in the individual youth routine while Alyssa Andronyk was fourth and Taya Roode was fifth.
