Forbes stops 50, still not enough as Knights fall

Langley loses 7-1 to Delta

The Langley Knights were blasted 7-1 by the Delta Ice Hawks in junior B hockey action.

The Knights visited the Ladner Leisure Centre on Nov. 17 with the home side striking for five goals in the second period to break open a 2-0 game.

Delta outshot Langley 29-5 in that 20-minute span.

Tristan Craighead had the lone Knights tally with a second period power-play marker.

The loss dropped Langley to 3-17-0-1 and they sit in last place of the PJHL's Harold Brittain Conference.

Cole Forbes stopped 41 shots in the first two periods.

The Knights are back in action when they host the Abbotsford Pilots on Nov. 19 at the George Preston Recreation Centre.
