G-Men take on Kelowna

The Giants defeated the Kamloops Blazers on home ice in Langley Saturday.

The Vancouver Giants are going head to head with the Kelowna Rockets and Lethbridge Hurricanes on home ice this weekend at the Langley Events Centre.

In game 18 of the regular season, they’ll take on the Kelowna team starting at 7:30, Nov. 4, then on Saturday evening they’ll challenge Lethbridge at 7 p.m.

In the meantime, this past weekend, the Giants fell to the Kamloops Blazers, 3-0 on Friday, despite goaltender Ryan Kubic making 40 saves in the game – including all 20 Kamloops shots made during the second period.

The Giants may have been out shot 43-40 on Friday in Kamloops, but back on home ice Saturday, they turned it around, defeating Kamloops 4-1.

The Giants outshot Kamloops 39-24, with Kubic making 23 saves in the Vancouver crease.
