Two Langley Gymnastics Foundation members spent the week in Japan at the Yokohama Sports Festival.

This year is the first time Japan has invited athletes from beyond its borders to compete.

Individually, Julian Geisler was B.C.’s top athlete, finishing the men’s all-around in sixth, and Cameron Stanley was ninth. The four-man Team BC which Stanley and Geisler are on also won the silver medal.

At the same time as the March 12-17 competition in Japan, LGF members were off in Kamloops at the 2014 Artistic Gymnastics BC Championships March 14-16.

Langley was among the 43 clubs and more than 640 athletes who competed.
