Langley’s Eddie Hicks has been named to the 2014 Canadian national freestyle team.

Altogether, 50 athletes were named to the roster on Monday for the 2014 season in the lead-up to the Sochi Winter Olympic Games.

Hicks is part of the moguls team.

The 24-year-old — who graduated from Brookswood Secondary — has been on the Canadian national team for five years.

The roster features 20 women and 30 men in the four disciplines under the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association — moguls, aerials, halfpipe and slopestyle.
