The Langley Thunder tasted defeat for the first time this season, falling 15-7 to Maple Ridge on May 5 at the Langley Events Centre.

The loss came on the heels of a convincing 12-7 victory the previous day in Nanaimo.

The results have the Thunder in top spot in the B.C. Intermediate Lacrosse League with a record of 3-1.

The Thunder will look to regroup and find the win column when they host Port Coquitlam on May 12 at the Langley Events Centre. Game time is 2 p.m.
