The Brookswood Bobcats have qualified for the provincial championships.The junior girls' basketball team posted an impressive 70-36 win over the Walnut Grove Gators on Thursday night at Brookswood Secondary.The win guarantees the ’Cats a top-four finish at the Fraser Valleys and a spot at next month's provincial championships at the University of the Fraser Valley.Brookswood faces Yale in one semifinal Friday (Feb. 25) at 8 p.m. The other pits Riverside and Holy Cross.The championship game is Saturday night at 8 p.m. at Brookswood.The Gators can finish no higher than fifth after their loss to the Bobcats.Walnut Grove plays Maple Ridge on Friday on the consolation side of the Fraser Valley championships.

Junior boys' championshipsAt the junior boys’ championships, Walnut Grove was eliminated after a 57-50 to Fraser Heights on Wednesday.
