The Langley Junior Thunder and Port Coquitlam Saints are set for a best-of-three wildcard playoff series next week.

The Saints are the fourth seed in the B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League standings with a record of 11-10 while Langley is fifth at 9-11. The team closes the regular season on July 7 against Coquitlam.

Game one against Port Coquitlam is on July 12 with game two at the Langley Events Centre on July 14. If necessary, game three would be July 15 back at the Poco Rec Centre.

The winner will face the first-place Coquitlam Adanacs.

The Langley Intermediate Thunder find themselves tied for first place heading into the regular season finale on July 8.

The Thunder are 13-4 and face the Delta Islanders in the finale.

They have qualified for the B.C. Intermediate A Lacrosse League playoffs, which is a best-of-three series in the opening round. A victory in that series would qualify the team for the provincial championships later this month (July 29 to Aug. 1) at the Langley Events Centre.
