Langley Junior Thunder's Bryce Brochu scored twice in an 8-4 loss to Dallas Wade and the Victoria Junior Shamrocks. Brochu added four more goals the next game but Langley lost again, this time 15-8 to New Westminster.

For the second straight game, the Langley Junior Thunder fell behind early and could not recover.

The junior A lacrosse team was down 5-0 less than eight minutes into the game on Tuesday (May 19) in what turned out to be a 15-8 defeat at the hands of the New Westminster Junior Salmonbellies  at Queens Park Arena.

The Thunder managed to get within a pair of goals three times in the game, but could never get any closer as they lost a second straight game.

They also lost 8-4 to the visiting Victoria Junior Shamrocks on May 17 at the Langley Events Centre to fall to 2-5-1 on the season.

Bryce Brochu had two goals in that game and followed that up with four goals and five points against New Westminster.

James Rahe (two goals, three assists) and Thomas Moffatt (two goals, two assists)  had the other Thunder goals.

The Thunder next play on May 26 when they host New Westminster at the LEC.
