The Thunder also edged the Lakers 6-5 last week (June 2) and now sit at 4-6 in the B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League.

The Lakers tied Sunday’s game at six midway through the third period but Langley scored four goals in the final 8:11 for the win.

Alex Gibbs had a goal and two helpers while Mitch McDole, Nathan McKeigan and Dylan Lacroix each had a goal and three helpers.

Christian Bosa led the offence the game before with a goal and three helpers.

The team will go for a fourth straight win on June 9 when they host New Westminster.

The Langley Intermediate A Thunder sit at 8-3 in the B.C. Intermediate Lacrosse League standings after losing 19-11 to Coquitlam on Tuesday night in Coquitlam.

The team will look to bounce back as they play in Victoria on June 11.
