Langley junior A lacrosse team hopes first home game will translate into first victory

The Langley junior A Thunder are hoping their home opener will equal their first victory of the lacrosse season.

The Thunder lost 14-7 to Coquitlam last Friday (May 6) and then 13-11 to Delta the next night in B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League action.

The Thunder host Port Coquitlam tomorrow (May 12) at the Langley Events Centre.

In both games, Langley was done in by the second period as they allowed seven goals in each of those middle stanzas.

Against the Delta Islanders, Dylan Kaminski led the attack with three goals and one assist while Mitch McDole (two goals, two assists) and Dylan Lacroix (two goals, one assist) both had multi-goal games. In the first game against the Saints, Christian Bosa had two goals and two assists. He also had four assists against the Islanders.
