Carson Rose headlines the returning players as the Langley Knights get set for their second season. Rose led the junior B hockey club with 35 goals last season. The Knights begin the PJHL on Sept. 10 when they host North Vancouver. Admission is free to the game, though donations are being accepted for Sophie's Place.

The second season of junior B hockey in Langley kicks off on Thursday night with a free home opener at the George Preston Recreation Centre.

The Knights, who finished second in the Pacific Junior International Hockey League's Harold Brittain Conference in 2014/15, will host the North Vancouver Wolf Pack on Sept. 10. Game time is 7:45 p.m.

Admission will be free to the game but donations are being collected for Sophie's Place, a child advocacy centre.

The in-game entertainment will feature some Langley Minor Hockey Association teams playing a mini-game at the first intermission while the Langley Figure Skating Club will perform at the second intermission.
