The second season of junior B hockey in Langley kicks off on Thursday night with a free home opener at the George Preston Recreation Centre.

The Knights, who finished second in the Pacific Junior International Hockey League’s Harold Brittain Conference in 2014/15, will host the North Vancouver Wolf Pack on Sept. 10. Game time is 7:45 p.m.

Admission will be free to the game but donations are being collected for Sophie’s Place, a child advocacy centre.

The in-game entertainment will feature some Langley Minor Hockey Association teams playing a mini-game at the first intermission while the Langley Figure Skating Club will perform at the second intermission.
