The Credo Christian Kodiaks’ quest for a provincial medal came to an end in the quarter-finals.

The Kodiaks lost a heartbreaker, 58-56, to the Kelowna Christian Knights on Thursday at the Langley Events Centre.

Credo Christian was the fourth seed and the Knights the fifth seed at the BC 1A senior boys basketball championships. The game was also a rematch of last year’s semifinals, when the Kodiaks pulled off the upset win against the No. 1 seed Knights.

With two games remaining, the Kodiaks can finish as high as fifth place.
