Tied at two runs through the first four innings, Langley's bats exploded in the late going, as they hammered Hastings 12-4 in the championship final at the 23rd annual Drew Henderson Memorial Tournament.

The tournament was hosted by Whalley Little League, and the Langley team consisted of 11-year-olds from Langley and North Langley joining on one squad.

With the score tied in the final, Langley took control with three runs in the top of the fifth and then put the game out of reach with seven more runs in the sixth, including a home run from Mack Berry.

Cole Perrie was named player of the game after going 4-for-4 at the plate and pitching the game's final two innings.

Langley finished atop their pool and edged Whalley in the semifinals.
