After a frustrating beginning to the season, Langley Eagles won gold at the North Okanagan bantam tournament, beating host team Okanagan Knights 8-1 in the final.

“It was really good, how the team came together,” said team manager Adam Benson.

Benson said the team got off to a “rocky start” in regular season play, suffering several losses, but rebounded to take the tournament, defeating the host team North Okanagan Knights 8-1 in the final.

The North Okanagan minor hockey bantam tournament ran from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. in Armstrong and Enderby.
