Professional boxing returns to the Langley Events Centre this Friday.

The Langley City Boxing club presents Turmoil on 200th—a pro boxing show that features a Canadian Championship fight.

Langley school teacher Alisah McPhee will be fighting for a Canadian Championship in the super flyweight limit. She will face off against Judy Pereira of Winnipeg.

Surrey’s Aman Aujla will compete in a heavyweight fight against Toronto’s Todd Stoute.

Langley Boxing coach Dave Allison, said Aujla is a ‘real prospect.’

“He has proved himself as a solid for real fighter and he has natural power. He is young enough to have a promising career and we are behind him.”

Another Surrey boxer, Julia Kim, will compete against James Kelly of Ottawa.

The boxing show also features an amateur category.

“Boxing fans will see exciting boxing with matches that could go either way. We will not go down the road of set up fights. Any fighter out there looking to fight on these cards need to know they have to perform,” said Allison.

Tickets cost $40 and are available at the Langley Events Centre.

The show is on Nov. 23 and doors open at 6:30 p.m., fights at 7:30 p.m.
