Langley hosting AA and AAA girls high school basketball championships

Games continue at the Langley Events Centre until Saturday.

The Walnut Grove Secondary Gators take on Riverside Secondary today at 5 p.m. in the 2018 B.C. AAA Secondary School Girls Basketball Championships in the Langley Events Centre.

The public can go watch the action which runs until the best team is declared on Saturday in a 5 p.m. game which is in the centre court.

Brookswood Secondary had a noon game on Thursday which resulted in Surrey’s Semiamhoo Secondary winning 87-56.

The 2018 B.C. AA Secondary School Girls Basketball Championships are also taking place this week at the Langley Events Centre. Only the squad from Langley Christian School made it to the championships. They take on South Kamloops Secondary at 6:45 p.m. in the south court.
