Langley Taikwondo competitors score gold at US World Open Championships

Woo Kim Langley Taekwondo competition team has had a successful start to the tournament season,

This past weekend they travelled to Parksville for the 2019 Island Open.

This event, which drew competitors from all over BC and Washington state, saw the Woo Kim Warriors return with 18 Bronze, 16 Silver and 15 Gold Medalists.

In February the Warriors travelled to Portland, Oregon for the 2019 US World Open Championships. The event drew competitors from 20 countries.

They returned to Langley with 11 bronze, five silver and seven gold.

The team is now in training for the 2019 Korean Consul Cup being held at the Langley Event Center on May 25th.
