Langley trio earn invites to Arizona meet

Langley Olympians Swim Club led by Bailey Herbert who captures six gold medals

A trio of local swimmers are off to Arizona next week after earning spots on Swim BC.

Hillary Metcalfe, Renae Ledoux and Justin Schramm — all members of the Langley Olympians Swim Club — were selected for the Tucson Invitational Swim Meet in Arizona. It runs May 18 to 23.

To earn a spot on Swim BC’s squad, swimmers had to be ranked in the top 15 in Canada from Jan. 1 to April 10, as well as 18 and under.
