There will be plenty of Langley representation when the Fraser Valley all-stars hit the court against their Lower Mainland counterparts.

Three players and one local coach are involved for the B.C. senior girls all-star basketball game while five rising stars will take part in the underclassmen all-star contest.

Langley Christian’s Hannah Krepp and Katelyn Mallette, as well as Lightning coach Dani Gardner, will be joined by Brookswood Bobcats’ Louise Forsyth in the game, which will be played at Port Coquitlam’s Riverside Secondary on Wednesday (April 12).

All three players are in their final year of high school.

That game tips off at 8:15 p.m.

It will be proceeded by the Futures game at 6:30 p.m.

The Fraser Valley roster for that game features Brookswood’s Jenna Dick and Janessa Knapp, Walnut Grove Gators’ Tavia Rowell and Jessica Wisotzki, and Langley Christian’s Makenna Gardner.

Gardner is in Grade 9 while the other four are all in Grade 10.

Brookswood came third at last month’s B.C. AAA provincial championships while the Lightning were also third at the B.C. AA championships.

Walnut Grove was seventh at the AAA championships.
