Langley well represented at regional rugby championships

Eleven Langley players will suit up for respective Fraser Valley teams this weekend in Burnaby

D.W. Poppy's Henry Brown (with ball) is one of 11 Langley teenagers who will be playing at the B.C. Rugby provincial regional championships this weekend in Burnaby.

Eleven Langley rugby players  — six female and five male players — will see action this weekend with their respective Fraser Valley regional teams as BC Rugby hosts the provincial regional championships in Burnaby.

Walnut Grove’s Jordyn Myers and Nicole Ensor, Langley Fine Arts’ Liriel Yurick and Aldergrove’s Cheye Gustafson are on the Fraser Valley U16 squad while Brookswood’s Elliot Cluney and Aldergrove’s Sierra Gustafson are on the Valley U18 team.

And on the boys’ side of the championships, D.W. Poppy’s George Brown and Brian Mah, and R.E. Mountain’s Ethan Bernardin and Robert Lim will play for the U15 Fraser Valley East team.

Poppy’s Henry Brown is on the U14 Valley East team.
