Dorothy Ludwig shot her way to a Canadian national championship in Calgary.
The Langley resident finished in top spot at the Canadian national air pistol championships last week.
The 33-year-old — who represented Canada last month at the London Olympic Games where she finished 34th — was competing in the 10m air pistol division.
Ludwig finished with a score of 846.2, which was 3.2 ahead of the second-place finisher, Lea Wachowich.
Ludwig, who trains out of the Langley Rod and Gun Club, won gold in her event at the 2011 Pan American Games in Mexico.
