Walnut Grove's McKenna Nickel won silver at the Ogopogo Skating Competition.

Walnut Grove’s McKenna Nickel came away the silver medal at the Ogopogo Skating competition in Penticton over the weekend.

Nickel placed second in the senior bronze ladies event.

She was also sixth in bronze interpretative.

Nickel was there with the Cloverdale Skating Club.

Other club results included Emily Bickel was sixth in preliminary ladies, Madison Borthwick, who was seventh in pre-preliminary ladies; Kaitlin Chamberlain, who was seventh in preliminary ladies; Melissa Schreiber, who was eighth in senior bronze ladies.

Peyton Molberg was in the performance evaluation program.
