The brother-sister act of John and Sinead Kerr will once again be performing at the Holiday Festival on Ice at the Langley Events Centre on Dec. 6.

It is the chance of a lifetime for a pair of local figure skaters who have been invited to join some of the world's top talent on the ice as part of the Holiday Festival on Ice at the Langley Events Centre.

Emily Bator and Rachel Rollke will join such stars as Joannie Rochette, Elvis Stojko and Kurt Browning, among many others at the second annual event, which runs Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. at the LEC.

The stars will perform on the ice while Canadian musician Holly Cole belts out some holiday music.

Bator, a 17-year-old, trains out of the Langley Figure Skating Club, while the 15-year-old Rollke is from the Aldergrove Skating Club.

Bator has competed in the Gold level in all four disciplines and was eighth at the B.C. section championships in 2012 for junior ladies. She was also the Gold ladies champion and the silver interpretative champion last year.

Rollke received the gold medal in the introductory interpretative event at the recent Jingle Blades competition. She also helps out with the club's younger skaters in the Learn to skate session.
