Langley Mustangs Kenzo Los (#223) was in a dead heat during the 100m race over the weekend as the Mustangs Track and Field Club hosted the 36th annual Pacific Invitational Track and Field Meet at McLeod Athletic Park. Los won gold in the boys’ 16/17 division 100m race as well as taking silver in the 200m event. Langley athletes won 42 gold, 36 silver and 28 bronze medals.

The Langley Mustangs hosted the 36th annual Pacific Invitational Track and Field Meet at McLeod Athletic Park from June 19 to 21.

And Langley athletes were well represented on the podium, combining to win 42 gold, 36 silver and 28 bronze medals.

9-year-old age group:

Kaitlin Gelowitz (gold 60m hurdles, gold shot put, silver high jump).

Joey Adams (gold 60m, gold 600m, gold long jump, silver 100m, silver 60m hurdles).

John Babao (gold shot put, silver 60m).

10-year-old age group:

Paulo Valli (silver 1000m).

Peter Meier (bronze 1000m).

Owen Flack (silver long jump).

Kelsa Kempf (gold 60m hurdles, gold high jump, gold long jump, gold javelin, silver 100m, bronze discus, bronze shot put).

Danielle Hagyard (silver long jump, bronze 100m, bronze 1000m).

Abby Adams (silver shot put).

The Mustangs girls relay team won silver in the 4×100.

11-year-old age group:
