Saturday’s rainy weather didn’t slow Langley Mustangs’ Madison Gordon (#221) who competed in the 11-year-old girls 60m hurdles race during a downpour at McLeod Athletic Park.

Close to 1,000 athletes ranging in age from junior development to masters took part in the 37th annual Pacific Invitational track and field meet.

The three-day meet was sponsored by Peninsula Runners at McLeod Athletic Park.
