Langley bantam football team tops Valley 21-14

The Langley Mustangs topped the Valley Thunder 21-14 in Vancouver Mainland Football League bantam action.

The teams played on Sunday at McLeod Athletic Park.

Kai Thomas (90 yards rushing) and Brodie Thomas (60 yards) each scored one touchdown while quarterback Stuart Phillips threw for 60 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown pass to Stryker Roloff. Nick Murray also came up with 75 rushing yards.

The Mustangs defence was led by Roloff’s 10 tackles while Nic Klotz had eight tackles and a sack. Thomas had five tackles while Evan Love had three quarterback sacks to go along with his five tackles.

Matt Lew and Klotz also each had a fumble recovery.
