The Bantam Langley Bears suffered their first loss of the season, 33-10, in the final regular season game against the Surrey Tigers on a wet day in Surrey. The Bears ended the regular season with a 9-1 record.

David WEGERT kicked a 30-yard field goal early in the game and Michael HUGGAN caught a long pass from Isaiah KEY to score the lone Bears touchdown early in the second half to bring the Bears within four points of the Tigers.

The defense had a good game but some untimely penalties, turnovers and big passing plays from the Tigers cost the Bears the win.

The Bears will regroup this week in preparation for the first round of the playoffs against the Maple Ridge Knights at MacLeod stadium in Langley.
