Peewee champ set to be crowned at Langley Events Centre

North Shore won 5-1. The championship game goes Thursday (March 22) at 8 p.m.

It all comes down to one game.

The puck will drop at 8 p.m. on Thursday (March 22) at the Langley Events Centre as the peewee tier 1 AAA hockey championships conclude.

The North Shore Winter Club Winterhawks are the favourite going into the final after a perfect 5-0 record in the round robin.

The Winterhawks have been dominant so far in the tournament, out-scoring their foes by a combined 41-7.

Their opponent will be the host team, the Langley Eagles, who are 3-1 in the round robin (they play Prince George at 2 p.m. but have already secured second spot).

The Eagles lone loss came to the Winterhawks, a 5-1 defeat on March 20.
