Port Moody’s Liesa Draunimasi inadvertantly grabs teammate Aaron Cho while attempting to tackle ballcarrier Jon Quon of the Walnut Grove Gators during the tier two Fraser Valley rugby final at Abbotsford’s Yale Secondary School last week (May 17).

A late-game stand at the try-line helped the Port Moody Blues defeat the Walnut Grove Gators 19-13 in the tier 2 Fraser Valley senior boys rugby championship game.

The two sides squared off on May 17 at Abbotsford's Yale Secondary, with the Blues holding firm as time expired and Walnut Grove tried desperately to cross the try-line.

Mook Kim and Zach Laliberte scored the Walnut Grove tries with Laliberte also adding a penalty kick.
