Preston's offers great view point

When the Olympic torch relay comes to town, a local business is offering their sight-lines for a prime viewing opportunity.

“We have the perfect location on the busiest corner in Langley for watching the relay,” said Peter Heppner, the general manger at Preston Chevrolet Cadillac.

“It’s a once in a lifetime event and we are proud to have the opportunity to help showcase the support of our community.”

The local dealership, located on the corner of Langley Bypass and 200 Street, is opening their lot to anyone wanting to watch the torch go by. Limited parking is available.

The lot will be open for people to stake out the best spots at 1 p.m. and the torch is scheduled to pass Preston’s about an hour later.
