Hawley Bennett-Awad will represent Canada once again, this time at the Pan Am Games in Mexico in October.

Hawley Bennett-Awad will ride for Canada next month at the Pan American Games.

The veteran Langley equestrian athlete — who has represented Canada in the past, including the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens — was one of five riders named to the Canadian eventing team.

They will compete at the Pan Am Games in Guadalajara, Mexico from Oct. 21-23.

Bennett-Awad will ride Five O’Clock Somewhere, an American thoroughbred gelding.

It is owned by Bennett-Awad, Sue Church and Kimberley Barron.

The Pan Am team was based on their performance in the spring and summer training competition program.
