Brandon Astle is no different than a hockey player who aspires to make it to the next level.
And that is exactly what he has done, making the jump from calling junior A hockey games in the BCHL with the Langley Rivermen to doing the same — as well as serving as director of communications — with the American Hockey League's Abbotsford Heat.
