Langley Rivermen's Austin Azurdia (#11) was named the BCHL player of the week after picking up three goals and six points in the junior A hockey club's three games, which included a pair of victories.

Langley Rivermen forward Austin Azurdia was also named the BCHL player of the week (for the week ending Feb. 10) after scoring three goals and six points in the team’s three games.

Azurdia had a goal and two assists in a 7-1 win over the Coquitlam Express on Feb. 5 at the Langley Events Centre and then scored twice and set up another in a 6-3 win on Friday, also at the LEC, over the Victoria Grizzlies.

Azurdia is third on the team in scoring with 17 goals and 32 points. This was his second BCHL player of the week award.
