Langley junior varsity football program looks to harpoon Ballenas Whalers

The Langley Saints are proving to be fast learners.

The Saints re-established their junior varsity program this fall and the team has made it a successful return as the team has qualified for the provincial playoffs.

The Saints capped off the regular season with an 18-0 shutout victory over the Holy Cross Crusaders, to finish the regular season at 4-1.

As the second-place team in the Valley Division, they will host the Ballenas Whalers on Nov. 8 at McLeod Athletic Park. Game time is 3 p.m.

The Whalers were 2-4 and in third place in the Island Division.
