The Mountain Eagles rebounded from a tough opening round loss to win their final two games and place fourth at the Eagle Classic.
The Grade 8 boys basketball tournament was held at R.E. Mountain Secondary on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14.
Mountain lost their first game, to the St. Thomas Aquinas Knights, but bounced back with victories over D.W. Poppy and Langley Christian to place fourth at the tournament.
In the championship final, it was the Walnut Grove Gators defeating St. Thomas Aquinas.
Langley Christian finished sixth and Poppy was eighth.
