Too much Chaos for competition

It was a golden time for the Langley Chaos.

The 95 bantam C girls’ fastball team finished in top spot at a tournament at Fleetwood Park last weekend.

The Chaos finished the tournament a perfect 6-0.

After round-robin victories over White Rock/South Surrey, Ridge Meadows Kaos and Cloverdale put them into top spot heading into the playoff round, Langley needed come-from-behind victories in two of their final three games.

In the quarter-finals, Langley scored five runs in the final inning, to advance.

And after a 9-2 win over the Fleetwood Revenge to make the final, the Chaos again needed late-game heroics, rallying from two runs down in the fifth to defeat the Ridge Meadows Dynomite 16-9 to win the gold medal.

The Chaos consist of: Stephanie Digness, Delanie Locke, Rachel Stephenson, Ashley Fontaine, Taylor Glass, Carly Watson, Rachelle Folk, Erica Williams, Lauren Peterson, Kelsey Dennis and Morgan Rossi.
