The Kodiaks had finished third at the Fraser Valley championships.

And at the AAA senior girls championships in Vancouver, the Langley Saints — fresh off a Fraser Valley championship banner — placed ninth overall.

And closer to home at the Langley Events Centre, the Langley Fundamental Titans also placed ninth in the senior boys AA championships. The Titans had finished fourth at last month’s Fraser Valley championships.
