Valley West Hawks all-star Lange keeps finding net

Five goals in three games for Langley sniper

Daniell Lange had a productive weekend, scoring five goals in three games for two teams.

Lange’s goal-scoring weekend began on Friday night in the B.C. Major Midget Hockey League’s all-star game as he helped Team Blue defeat Team White 5-2 at the Poirier Sports and Leisure Complex in Coquitlam.

He followed that up with two goals and an assist for the Valley West Hawks on Saturday at Coquitlam’s Planet Ice, in an 8-5 victory over the North Island Silvertips.

And Lange capped off the weekend by scoring both goals to earn his team a single point in a 2-2 tie with the Silvertips.

In the earlier game, the Hawks’ Matthew Cox, Jerrett Smith, Rhett Willcox, Jordan Klimek and Josh Pollock all had goals.

Danton Heinen, Mitchell Friesen, Klimek and Smith also participated in the all-star game.
