Vancouver Stealth forward Rhys Duch was named the NLL's Air Canada Wingman of the Week after a six assist performance on April 23 in his team's 14-12 victory over the Saskatchewan Rush.

Wingman award for Stealth’s Duch

Leading scorer for Vancouver Stealth earns weekly honour from National Lacrosse League for his playmaking prowess

Vancouver Stealth forward Rhys Duch has been named the National Lacrosse League’s Air Canada Wingman of the Week.

Duch recorded two goals and eight points in Vancouver’s 14-12 home win over the Saskatchewan Rush last Saturday night to keep the Stealth alive in the playoff race.

Duch — the Stealth’s all-time leader in goals, assists and points — is fourth in the league with 42 goals and seventh in both assists (58) and points (98).

He is the second member of the Stealth to win the award this season, joining Logan Schuss who won in week six.

The Stealth wrap up the NLL regular season with a pair of road games this weekend, tonight (Friday) in Colorado and tomorrow against the Georgia Swarm.

Vancouver needs to win both games while hoping Calgary loses its finale to make the NLL post-season.
