A new coach and now a new general manager for the Langley Rams.

Days after announcing Matt (Snoop) Blokker as their new head coach, the junior football team named Howie Zaron as general manager.

Zaron is a long respected member of the B.C. football community as a coach and administrator for the past 20 years.

The Langley native was head coach of the Valley Huskers from 2006 to 2009 and won back-to-back Ranji Mattu Awards as BCFC coach of the year in both 2007 and 2008.

He also won three B.C. Community Football provincial championships as coach, one of those with Langley Minor Football, and the other two with North Surrey Minor.

Zaron begins his job immediately with the Rams.
