Lots of people make New Year’s resolutions, whether it’s to lose weight, quit smoking, read more books, spend more time outdoors, or a wide variety of other personal goals.

But keeping a promise to yourself can be difficult, whether it’s an issue of willpower, or simply life getting in the way.
