Design Lighting was named Showroom of the Year in Outstanding Merchandising by Residential Lighting Magazine and Dallas Market Centre in June.
Design Lighting, a locally owned and operated store on the Langley/Surrey border is no stranger to this category, having received the award twice in the past.
But transitioning to an entirely all-LED offering earned this showroom additional recognition this year. By assigning different areas of the store to different staff members, multiple design sensibilities are encouraged. And interactive room settings and outdoor environments engage customers. Established in March 2000, Design Lighting has grown to supply lighting throughout Western Canada, Washington State and beyond.

There is a 4,500 square foot showroom, which displays a wide selection of lights including chandeliers, decorative lighting, bathroom, hallway and bedroom fixtures, track lighting, recessed lighting and landscape lighting. Design Lighting also has an interactive design centre with a full living room, dining room and kitchen right on the floor.
